the state
library of queensland's third level houses the james hardie
library of australian fine arts - donated by james
hardie industries limited to the state library as a bicentennial
gift to the nation in 1988. valued at $3 million
at the time, it was one of the most significant gifts ever made
to an australian library.
this pair of panoramas depicts
the library's john reid room which houses a variety of rare
books and fine arts, right up to current materials marked
for conservation. the collection is accessible
to the public by appointment.
the brisbane pan project now
offers businesses and individuals in brisbane a free service,
whereby we will come and shoot panoramas of your suggested locale
and present them here as part of the brisbane pan project, at no
cost! you may then direct visitors to the pages here,
