located within the queensland cultural centre precinct, the queensland performing arts centre (qpac) houses four performance spaces as well as studio and entertainment spaces.   the complex regularly plays host to a wide range national and international performers and shows ranging from solo acoustic performers to big-production musicals.

this series focuses on the lyric theatre and optus playhouse spaces, with a future series to focus on the two other main spaces, the concert hall and the cremorne theatre.  a third series may also depict the backstage areas, corporate entertainment facilities, and studio spaces.
