the roma
street parkland is the world's largest sub-tropical garden
located in a city centre. the parkland is divided into five
precincts - lake - spectacle garden - forest - celebration
lawn - and upper parkland, each with its own character and
purpose.
in addition to the parkland's
role as a garden, it also plays host to many public and private functions,
including festivals, weddings, music events, and
(of course) family barbecues. this series of images
(the second of four series) focuses on the various activity areas
throughout the site.
a wealth of information
regarding the parkland, its history, events, tours,
and more can be found at the parkland's website. in
addition to the images presented here, panoramas exclusive to the
parkland are to be included in the parkland's virtual tour.
the brisbane pan project now
offers businesses and individuals in brisbane a free service,
whereby we will come and shoot panoramas of your suggested locale
and present them here as part of the brisbane pan project, at no
cost! you may then direct visitors to the pages here,
or you may license the images for use on your own website, brochures,
ads etc. high quality prints are also available, up
to 1.2m wide.
if you know of a precinct
in brisbane (even your business place) that you would like to see here,
then please email us at panorama@carlngray.com.au. the
panoramic format is ideal for the online and print promotion
of hotels, clubs, restaurants, venues, and tourist attractions generally...
