the state
library of queensland is located at the northern end of the queensland
cultural centre precinct, overlooking the city stretch of the brisbane
river. the overall cultural centre precinct is designed
as single large complex, in similar monochromatic materials
and with hanging gardens throughout.
this series focuses on the
main exterior surrounds of the library, as designed by brisbane-born
architect robin gibson in 1975 (who designed the entirety of the
cultural centre precinct). an earlier
series of panoramas focuses on the interior spaces of the
library.
the brisbane pan project now
offers businesses and individuals in brisbane a free service,
whereby we will come and shoot panoramas of your suggested locale
and present them here as part of the brisbane pan project, at no
cost! you may then direct visitors to the pages here,
or you may license the images for use on your own website, brochures,
ads etc. high quality prints are also available, up
to 1.2m wide.
if you know of a precinct
in brisbane (even your business place) that you would like to see here,
then please email us at panorama@carlngray.com.au. the
panoramic format is ideal for the online and print promotion
of hotels, clubs, restaurants, venues, and tourist attractions generally...
